Alisa Salamova

Senior Project Manager

During her business administration studies with a specialization in hospitality management, Alisa Salamova meets her future colleague and supervisor Björn Neumann through mutual friends. Björn recognizes her potential and recruits her straight from the lecture hall for WECC.

The encounter with Björn proves to be a stroke of fate: in 2016, she starts in the sales and project management team at WECC. During the pandemic, she began pursuing a different career but soon returns to WECC. Fortunately for Björn, together they restructure all processes and optimize project organization.

For Björn, she is an irreplaceable colleague whom he can rely on 100%.

“She has the ability to handle tasks rigorously, meticulously, and with almost frightening calmness, delivering excellent results with a high service and customer-oriented mindset. Our clients’ feedback regularly confirms this. There are few people to whom I can hand over a project and know: it will work!” You can feel the trust.

Previously, she was focused on sales and project management; now she concentrates entirely on project management. Her experience pays off. “You know what’s possible and what’s not. In project management, I act as the interface between all other departments and the client. You accumulate a lot of knowledge,” confirms Alisa.

Her role is a classic all-round position. She is constantly in communication with others, knows what is happening where, and always has everything in view. In the event industry, you often have to deal with external service providers – not so at WECC. “What’s great about WECC is that we have our own venue and catering. We can offer a complete package and everything from a single source.”

Alisa takes care of all kinds of events: conferences, gala dinners, buffets, and flying service, sometimes with seating options outdoors depending on the season. She knows exactly what needs to be considered for each event and benefits from her wealth of experience. At the same time, she places great emphasis on serving each customer individually. “We pay great attention to being able to fulfill all customer wishes,” says Alisa.

She often attends events or showrooms to see new offerings and stay in touch with vendors. She is in constant contact with Björn: together, they always ensure they offer their clients the best solutions. Every day is different, and the world of project management is diverse. “You have structure, but you also have to be open to new things.” It sounds like the perfect combination for Alisa.
