Arrival and Accommodation(6)
In the immediate vicinity of the WECC, you can choose from various accommodation options of different categories. You can find a complete overview of hotels in our area here.
We work with various shuttle services. We would be happy to connect you with them.
You can reach the “Westhafen” S-Bahn and U-Bahn (subway) station by public transport, from there it’s a ten-minute walk. From the main train station, you can reach the WECC in just ten minutes via Rathenow Straße and Birkenstraße. Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) is about a 30-minute drive away via the A100 and A113. Your event at the WECC begins at our private boat dock! Arriving from the city center by maritime shuttle is a special experience for our guests. Alternatively, we can organize a boat trip for your event that starts directly at our event location.
The WECC has a maximum of 20 on-site parking spaces. The MOA Berlin parking garage, 900 meters away (please enter Birkenstraße 21, 10559 Berlin into your navigation system), offers 350 parking spaces and 20 e-charging stations.
Rooms and Setup(5)
The WECC offers 8 workshop rooms ranging from 30 to 60 m². For larger breakout sessions and meetings, these can be combined as desired – even during the event.
The equipment and seating can be arranged entirely according to your wishes. For example, if you are holding a conference or meeting with us, we recommend row seating or parliamentary seating. For festive occasions in one of our halls, we usually set up a banquet or long table. However, creative solutions are also possible, such as a standing-sitting combination or a division into dinner and lounge areas.
Yes, the entire building is barrier-free. The WECC shares a lift for wheelchair users with the adjacent building. Inside, there are two wheelchair-accessible toilets and another elevator.
There is no permanently installed stage or dance floor at the WECC. We plan and modify the WECC according to the individual specifications of our clients.
Thanks to their generous floor space, our rooms offer many possibilities for individual outfitting. Exhibitor and sponsor booths for marketing events, as well as flipcharts and projectors for product presentations, can all be accommodated here.
Catering(3)
Our rooms vary depending on the occasion and personal preferences. For example, if you use our halls, our bright lobby on the upper floor (259 m²) is suitable as a lounge or reception area for your guests. On the ground floor, our workshop rooms, ranging from 30 to 60 m², are available. They can be resized and arranged as break or networking areas.
Through an extensive needs analysis prior to collaboration, the 40 SECONDS Catering team can address all intolerance requirements and always consider ethno-cultural specifics. At all events, dishes are transparently labeled regarding allergens. We ask for your understanding that we cannot produce kosher or “Halal” certified dishes ourselves. We would be happy to recommend external partners for this.
Our exclusive catering partner, 40 SECONDS, takes care of feeding your guests. For every occasion and group of participants, the team around Holger Wewer has been delighting guests for over 15 years with culinary highlights and tailor-made food concepts. Through regular market and trend analyses, as well as in exchange with the DGE (German Nutrition Society) and the industry association DEHOGA, new nutritional findings are incorporated into our work.
Outdoor Area(4)
Yes, in our outdoor area, you and your guests can enjoy exquisite delicacies in a maritime atmosphere. Our BBQs at our boat dock, where vegetarians and vegans also get their money’s worth, are almost legendary.
To ensure a change in weather doesn’t mean the end of your event, we plan ahead for unfavorable weather conditions. Depending on the type and size of your event, we will move the reception to our light-filled lobby on the ground floor in case of rain. If the number of participants is too large for that, the event will start on the 1st floor, where our halls are located.
The extensive outdoor area, located directly on the water, is universally customizable, just like the WECC itself: Whether it’s a lounge, standing-sitting combinations, or rustic outdoor furniture flanked by bars, buffets, or market stalls – the options are vast. In addition, the new, 500 m² floating pontoon offers another highlight for your guests.
Yes, smoking is permitted in our outdoor area.
Technical Equipment and Support(4)
The WECC works with Satis&Fy, an internationally active technical partner. All technical requirements are implemented professionally and to the highest quality. For every event, we provide our clients with a technical director for the entire duration of the event.
In addition to the space, the booking of the installed basic technology for the rented halls is mandatory. You can find an overview of the basic costs here.
The WECC is equipped with Wi-Fi coverage throughout the entire building (up to 2 Gbit/s), including multi-user technology. Upon request, the Wi-Fi area can be extended to the outdoor areas.
Thanks to modern media, lighting, and sound technology, as well as state-of-the-art conference technology, we perfectly stage your event:

Organizational Support(4)
We are happy to put you in touch with reliable partners from our network. The WECC itself does not offer these services. The necessary technical infrastructure can be individually configured and provided.
You are welcome to bring in your own service providers for an event at the WECC after our written approval. Please note that core competencies such as technology or catering cannot be provided externally.
You will be supported by dedicated contact persons throughout all phases of collaboration and even after the event. During the event, an Operations Manager will be by your side, serving as the interface to all other trades. All concerns are always resolved professionally and with the highest service mentality, allowing you to focus entirely on your guests and the content of your event.
As a full-service location, the WECC provides all the staff for your event. Only qualified and trained personnel are deployed. All employees receive extensive and detailed briefings prior to events. They are at least bilingual and can answer guests’ questions in German and English at any time.
Safety and Hygiene Measures(2)
The WECC has been working with a strict hygiene regime, parts of which go far beyond legal requirements, long before the pandemic. For example, we avoid allergy-triggering components in cleaning agents and soaps in guest restrooms and have an air exchange system with CO2 measuring sensors that exchanges the air throughout the entire building almost 5 times per hour. As a venue, the WECC is subject to strict and uncompromising legal requirements. All events must comply with these. Compliance is non-negotiable, as the protection and health of participants are top priority. First responders are on site at every event, staff regularly participate in safety and disaster preparedness exercises, and can react quickly and professionally in the event of an evacuation through well-rehearsed procedures. In addition, the WECC has automated fire protection and alarm systems that are connected to the nearby police and fire department and trigger alarms independently.
Sustainability(2)
Whenever possible, our food and beverages are served on porcelain and in glasses. Otherwise, we exclusively use recycled material. Any leftovers from production (e.g., vegetables, coffee) are used for the production of cocktails or similar.
We attach great importance to the resource-efficient implementation of your event. For this reason, we work according to a strict sustainability concept. Our entire building is equipped with three central ventilation systems, each with efficient heat recovery. Our technical systems are controlled by modern, sometimes AI-based systems, which ensure optimal energy utilization.
Costs(3)
If you wish to postpone or cancel your event, please contact us as soon as possible. Please note that in such a case, we will charge a cancellation fee.
The costs for an event at the WECC Berlin consist of room rental, technology flat rate, electricity, cleaning, and other items. You can find an overview of the basic costs at the WECC here. We ask for your understanding that we can only realistically calculate individual services, such as catering, after consultation with you.
Upon receipt of the invoice, we kindly request the transfer of the due amount. Please refer to our terms and conditions for the amount and payment due date.

Drone flights are possible in compliance with legal requirements and after prior coordination with the WECC and BEHALA. We will take care of the latter for you.
Together with our partner knw, we can provide you with demographic data for your event. This includes information on interest, attention, and participant satisfaction. You can find all details about the AI-based knw software here.
At the WECC, you can celebrate and hold meetings as extensively and for as long as you wish. There are no time or volume limits here.
